Autumn Prayer
Dear Rain,
wash away the dust from our dirty bodies. Soak our forests and gardens. Fill the rivers and the oceans.
Dear Wind,
blow away our sorrows, rinse our fogged minds. Clear the skies.
Dear Cold,
cool our overheated emotions. Bring peace to the raging fire in our inner and outer worlds.
Dear Darkness,
bring our focus inside. Inside our world, our communities, our families, our homes and ourselves. Enable us to experience the light.
Dear Clouds,
shroud us in your mystical embrace. Protect and nourish us.
